S116 – meters and sensors.
The temperature sensitive element of a resistive temperature sensor is an ideal device for continuous temperature monitoring inside cryo-storages, programmable freezers. SINTESY temperature sensors are RTD (resistance temperature sensors), made of platinum, two-wire, class A, and can measure temperature in a wide range of values from -200°C up to + 100°C.
Measurement tolerance is about ± 0.15°C at 0°C and remains below 0.5°C even at the extreme values of the measuring range. Sensor tolerance is usually adjusted during the calibration process using a reference sample.
