The MVE Doble 22 Bio dewar vessel provides storage of 2400 straws and 810 vials for 40 days in liquid nitrogen and 18 days in vapor. Holds 20.0 liters of liquid nitrogen.
The MVE Doble are the first Dewar vessels designed for both vapor phase transport and liquid phase storage. Doble QWick uses an absorbent absorbent material that absorbs liquid nitrogen for two hours. New / warm vessels must be filled with liquid nitrogen and left for 24 hours to achieve maximum cold retention time. When the vessel is sufficiently cooled, the Advanced QWick Charge technology is activated, which ensures the safe delivery of biomaterials in the vapor phase during the day. The unique absorbent layer at the base of the vessel absorbs liquid nitrogen and allows the vessel to be used as a dry shipper with a holding time of up to 30 days. Upon arrival at the final destination, the receptacles can be filled with liquid nitrogen and used for long-term storage, thus avoiding the need to return empty containers.
